SMS Alert Consent

SentraWatch uptime monitoring — SMS messaging disclosure

What messages will I receive?

SentraWatch sends automated SMS alerts when a health check you are monitoring goes down (outage detected) and when it recovers (service restored). These are transactional, incident-driven messages only — we do not send marketing or promotional texts.

How do I opt in?

You opt in to SMS alerts by entering your phone number in the Alert SMS field of a health check's settings within the SentraWatch dashboard. Providing your number constitutes your express consent to receive the messages described above.

How do I opt out?

You can stop receiving SMS alerts at any time by:

  • Removing your phone number from the health check settings in the SentraWatch dashboard.
  • Replying STOP to any message you receive from us.

After opting out you will no longer receive SMS alerts. You can re-enable them at any time by adding your number again.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies and depends entirely on the number and duration of incidents affecting your monitored services. You will receive at most two messages per incident (one when the outage is detected and one when the service recovers). There is no fixed recurring schedule.

Message & data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Please contact your mobile carrier for details about your text messaging plan.

Privacy

Your phone number is stored securely and used solely for delivering uptime alerts. We do not share your number with third parties for marketing purposes. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.
