Uptime monitoring that actually tells your users

Sub-minute HTTP and HTTPS checks from globally distributed probes, with automatic incident creation and a public status page built into the same tool.

Fast check intervals

Configurable check intervals from 1 minute on paid plans. Get notified before your users even notice.

Global probe network

Checks run from Vercel's global infrastructure, so a single regional network issue doesn't create a false alarm.

Auto-incident creation

A failed check automatically opens an incident, posts it to your status page, and alerts your team — zero manual work.

Multi-channel alerts

Email, SMS (on paid plans), and webhooks to Slack, Discord, or any URL. Configure per-check so the right people get the right alerts.

What makes SentraWatch's uptime monitoring different

Most uptime monitoring tools tell you when something's broken and stop there. SentraWatch combines monitoring with incident management and a public status page, so the moment a check fails, your users see an incident on your status page — before they open a ticket. That's the difference between alert fatigue and real operational trust.

How uptime checks work

You add an endpoint URL, pick an interval (30s to 15 minutes depending on plan), and optionally set expected status codes or response body matching. SentraWatch pings the endpoint on schedule, tracks response time, and triggers alerts on failure. Every check contributes to uptime analytics and a 90-day historical calendar on your dashboard.

What you can monitor

HTTP and HTTPS endpoints, REST APIs, webhooks, third-party dependencies, health endpoints, and anything that returns a status code. For more advanced checks (status code expectations, response body matching, authentication headers), use the check configuration options in the dashboard.

Alerting that doesn't fatigue you

Every alert can go to multiple email recipients, an SMS phone number, and a webhook. You can configure different alert channels per check, so production incidents wake up the right person — and staging glitches don't wake up anyone.

Frequently asked questions

How often does SentraWatch check my endpoints?

The Free plan checks every 5 minutes. Paid plans go down to 1-minute intervals. Faster intervals mean faster detection — most small SaaS teams find 1-minute checks a sweet spot.

Do I need to install anything on my servers?

No. SentraWatch checks run from external probes against your public endpoints — no agents, no sidecars, no infrastructure on your end.

Can I monitor private APIs behind authentication?

Yes. Check configuration supports custom headers, so you can send bearer tokens or API keys as part of the request.

What counts as an incident?

By default, any check failure opens an incident. You can tune sensitivity (e.g. require N consecutive failures) in check settings to avoid false alarms from flaky networks.

Does SentraWatch do synthetic transaction monitoring?

Not yet — multi-step synthetic checks are on the roadmap. For now, SentraWatch focuses on single-request HTTP/HTTPS monitoring, which covers the majority of 'is my service up' needs.
